Dry needling uses thin, sterile needles inserted into trigger points — tight bands of muscle that cause pain and restrict movement. Unlike acupuncture, dry needling is rooted in modern musculoskeletal science and targets specific neuromuscular dysfunction identified during your assessment.
During your session, Bo will assess your movement and identify trigger points contributing to your pain. Needling is one tool among many — it's used when appropriate alongside manual therapy, exercise, and education. Most patients feel a deep ache or twitch response that signals the muscle releasing. Some soreness is normal for 24–48 hours after treatment.
Many clinics charge dry needling as an add-on. At Rebound Motion, it's included in your standard $150 session whenever Bo determines it's appropriate for your treatment plan. No hidden fees, no surprise charges.
Dry needling is included at no extra cost when it's part of your treatment plan. HSA/FSA accepted.
